Brandy is adding extra clout to the annual Damien Campaign recruitment drive with a new, surprising image spot. For years, the Damien Campaign has been spontaneously associated with 'the pens'. A symbol that many generations have grown up with. Today, brandy is giving these pens the leading role in a sober but affecting spot.
By means of splendid camera-work and a poetic voice (Dutch: Pieter Embrechts / French: Robert Guilmard), the viewer discovers all the things you can do with an ordinary pen. Writing and crossing out, counting, relating something, drawing... But for those who really want to draw attention to the Damien cause, there are the Damien Campaign pens. Because, through the sale of these pens, the Damien Campaign cures thousands of leprosy and TBC patients worldwide. And so it takes only a few strokes of the pen to turn need into Godspeed.
