Radio 2 Summerhit Theme

07/07/2011 - Every year at least 20,000 music lovers come to the Radio 2 Summerhit award show. This year the event is broadcast live on radio and TV.

Brandy produced the theme music for this grand award show. A solid live brass section, a catchy melody and an infectious groove are the key ingredients for this massive show theme. It's the basis for the announcing TV commercial and for a complete radio imaging package.

A radio show that lasts for 7 days, that expands to TV, that glues a few million music lovers to their radio for one week... deserves its own sound.

Brandy produced the imaging for the holiday chart show "1000 Klassiekers" (1000 Classics) on Radio 2. A show theme that captures the essence and the grandeur of the listeners' all-time favorites and fits in nicely with the holiday season.

The basic theme was reworked into dozens of jingles, sweeps and singsweeps. These dress up the whole event: from the kick-off (gathering hundreds of thousands of votes) to the actual broadcast itself between Christmas and New Year's eve.
