The Greatest Hits of JOE fm

It isn't because a good number of the hits you play are a bit long in the tooth that your radio station has to seem “past its sell-by date”.
JOE fm challenged Brandy to come up with a format suited to classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s, but with an up-to-date sound. 

What typifies JOE Greatest is a pop sound with balls, whimsical look-backs at music from decades gone by, a heady mix of male and female vocals featured in a modern production.
16 basic cuts with all manner of variations, versions for various programmes together with service beds for news, weather forecasts and traffic updates make up a package of no less than 220 tracks.

Classics from the 80s, 90s and 00s combined with branding that sounds like the hits of today. That’s the recipe for the new M-FM 102.9 in Québec (Canada).

M-FM chose Brandy because of its innovative sound and approach. The station selected cuts from the Mix N Match & Fast Forward packages. A new French vocal group made the cuts even more positive, friendly and catchy. “We knew you guys were strong producers, but the result exceeded even our high expectations. The package is fantastique” says production director Laurent Boulet.

About M-FM 102.9

M-FM broadcasts in the French speaking part of Canada with a potential reach of 700.000 listeners. The station is part of the Cogeco Diffusion media group. The renowned presenter Gilles Parent has joined the station to support the rebranding and to add his own flair and personality to the on-air mix.
