09/09/2009 - A 32% market share is no reason for Radio 2 to rest on its laurels. The station continues to question itself, readjust its course and evolve.
With Close 2 You 3, the last gaps in the existing jingle package are filled and the sequence around the hour transition is thoroughly re-designed.
Radio 2 opted to have their ToH keep pace with the time of day or the week. Henceforth, mor-ning, noon, afternoon, evening and weekend get a specific touch at the hour. The 5th version was already launched last summer.
This variation is typical of the station that pro-grams very broadly and appeals to a very broad target group.
The Close 2 You package already includes 46 jingles. The jingles are supplemented with matching news tunes, weather and traffic beds and commercial sounders.
